€2 commémorative SPAIN 2021 - Puerta Toledo - UNESCO - Proof

This commemorative 2€ 2021 is dedicated to a unique architectural complex inscribed on UNESCO's World Heritage List: the historic city of Toledo, known as the city of three cultures.

The obverse features a view of the Puerta del Sol, a 14th-century building in the Mudéjar style, and a detail of the mural decoration in the prayer room of the Samuel Levi synagogue (commonly known as the Transit), located in the heart of Toledo's Jewish quarter and now the Sephardic Museum. In the lower left-hand corner, in capital letters, the word ESPAÑA and the year 2021.
